Explorer Air Elevating Leg Rests

Explorer Air Elevating Leg Rests for Raised, Supported Legs

The Explorer Air elevating leg rests are a pair of detachable leg rests for our Explorer Air and Explorer Air Reclining electric wheelchairs. Each one has a padded calf rest above its footplate. The pair comes as a left and a right, in the dark finish made for these two chairs.

Because these wheelchair leg rests are elevating, they can be raised when you would rather keep your legs up than bent at the knee. They also detach when you do not need them, for example when getting in and out of the chair or packing it into a car.

Which Chairs These Detachable Leg Rests Fit

These detachable leg rests fit the Explorer Air and the Explorer Air Reclining as we sell them today. The SmartChair Auto-Folding and SmartChair Reclining have their own lighter pair, the SmartChair Elevating Leg Rests. We have not confirmed this pair for any other chair, including the Explorer and the Explorer Lite. If you are not sure which model you have, contact us before you order, and if you bought your chair from us, your invoice or order date also helps us confirm it.
